Research in the Department

• Effects of nitrogen mixing in hydrogen fuel on the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). This project is in collaboration with Institute of Thermodynamics at Helmut Schmidt University, Hamburg, Germany. The research on this project at NED University is being done by Ms. Amber Fishan Zafar, a research scholar at NED University of Engineering and Technology.

• Mr. Munir Ahmed, Asstt Prof is about to start PhD in the area of Biofuel characterization. Two more faculty members are also in the process of persuing PhD from abroad.

Future Research Projects:

• Solar Air Conditioning in collaboration with Institute of Thermodynamics at Helmut Schmidt University, Hamburg, Germany.

• Hydrogen Combustion in IC Engines.
