Vision

The vision of the Masters programme in earthquake engineering in the Department of Earthquake Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology is to educate the next generation of engineers and researchers who are able to design and build safer and economical built environment which is resistant to earthquake excitations. This generation will also lead the research efforts needed to improve existing understanding in the field of earthquake engineering. The Department plans to offer Masters of Engineering degrees in three areas of earthquake engineering (Figure 1).
