About Karachi:

Places of Interest         Beaches         Shopping         Restaurants

Clifton Beach and Funland

Close to the popular seaside of the city, is Clifton Beach , where Karachiites flock to on weekends and holidays. Scattered along the shore are numerous stalls selling handicrafts made from seashells. Clifton has an amusement park with a bowling alley, and an aquarium.

Beaches

Various beaches are located in and around Karachi . It is good to find out what condition the beach is in before heading to the sea. Private beach huts can be rented for a fun day in the sun. Sandspit and Hawkes Bay are two clean beaches frequented by foreigners. Clifton Beach is a popular choice for camel and horse riding along the sea.

Hawkes Bay

Near shore fishing requires the use of boats and large nets. The Baluch boats are stylistically different from the Sindhi boats. The Baluch village that I lived in is surrounded by Sindhi villages, yet they cooperate and fish in different fishing areas.

Paradise Point

Paradise Point, on the Arabian Sea, is a beach in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Paradise Point is a sandstone rock promontory with a natural arch. The beach has attractions for families and tourists, including beachside horse and camel rides, amusement parks, restaurants, and swimming in the Arabian Sea.
