Description of Journal
Focusing on research works relevant to the fields of architecture and planning, the Journal of Research in Architecture and Planning (JRAP) explores issues of relevance to both scholars and practitioners. The JRAP is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and started publishing on an annual basis since 2000. Since 2011, it has become a biannual publication. At the moment, it is the only research journal being published in the discipline in the city.
Aims and Scope
The primary objective of the Journal of Research is to provide an international forum for the dissemination of research knowledge, new developments and critique in architecture, planning and related disciplines for the enrichment and growth of the profession within the context. The journal focuses on papers with a broad range of topics within the related discipline as well as other overlapping disciplines that contribute to architecture and planning. The JRAP publishes a wide range of research papers which deal with design, research and development studies; investigations of experimental and theoretical nature.
