FOREIGN STUDENTS

 

The NED University does not entertain any admission request from Foreigners directly. Foreigners are admitted against reserved seats if their names are recommended by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) OR Economic Affairs Division (Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan) (EAD)

 

Eligibility Criteria:

 

a. Pre-requisite Qualification

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) OR

Equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. NED University does not accept any qualification without subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, equivalent to Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering. Candidates must also have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering Examination with at least 60% aggregate marks.

b. Pre-Admission Entry Test

For admission in the NED University candidate has to qualify Pre-Admission Entry Test of the University based on the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) level subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. OR

Foreigners and Overseas Pakistani candidates may take SAT examination in lieu of Pre-Admission Entry Test – he/she must score at least 800 and 1500 respectively in SAT I and SAT II in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

c. English Language Skill

English Language Skill is being tested through Pre-Admission Entry Test.
Medium of instruction in all subjects is English.

Visa Processing:

 

As NED University does not entertain any admission request from Foreigners directly. Foreigners are admitted against reserved seats if their names are recommended by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) OR Economic Affairs Division (Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan) (EAD).

However, once any foreigner is admitted, the University issues certificates to bonafide students for the Re-Entry Visas or extensions in stay to complete degrees
