TRAINING/AWARENESS BUILDING
Training of young professionals in the field of conservation is one of the priority objectives of the Heritage Cell-DAPNED. Main purpose behind this is to address the dearth of trained specialists in the field. Young graduates of architecture, as well as students of the department are encouraged to join the Heritage Cell as internees who are given on job training.
DAP-NED is the first institution in Pakistan where efforts at formulating conservation training and education programs are being made. Elective courses on heritage conservation have been formally introduced within the undergraduate and post graduate curriculum.
