INMIC 2011 (14th IEEE International Multi Topic Conference 22nd - 24th December 2011, Karachi) aimed at providing an opportunity for national and international researchers and practitioners to present the most recent advances and future challenges in the fields of applied Information Technology, computer engineering, electronic, communication and control.

Dr. Tariq attended INMIC'11 as technical program committee member and conducted the tutorial with Ms. Saneeha Ahmed on tiltle "Wireless Sensor Networks: Architecture, Challenges and Applications". She was also the panel co-moderator with Prof. Dr. Shakeel Khoja of IBA, Karachi. The panel discussed "Opportunities and Challenges in Academia-Industry Linkage for Applied Research", held at the closing ceremony.
