Dr. Mr. Muhammad Ali Ismail has recieved his PhD from NED University of Engineering and Technology.

His research interests include but are not limited to

  • Multi–core Architecture and Programming
  • GP–GPU Programming
  • Configuring and performance analyzing of heterogeneous Linux MPICH Cluster environment
  • Configuring and performance analyzing of SMPs Linux MPICH Cluster environment
  • Configuring and performance analyzing of Multi Core Linux MPICH Cluster environment
  • Configuring and performance analyzing of ROCKS cluster environment
  • Parallel Programming in MPICH and OPENMP environment
  • Analyzing the behaviors of different Linux distributions on Clusters, SMPs and Multi Core Architectures.
  • Linux Kernel Debugging
  • Bench Marks Execution and analyzing their results.

Awards & Honors

  • First Prize and GOLD medal on presenting a aper "A Gait on the Way of High Performance Computing Using Clusters" in IEEEP – All Pakistan Student Seminar on 11th Feb 2004.

  • Third prize in a technical writing paper competition named E–INDUS 2003 organized by IEEE Pakistan. (Paper Topic : Clustering on The Way of High Performance Computing and its Applications Like Oracle Real Application Cluster).
