Dr. Muhammad Khurram received his PhD from Massey University New Zealand. He did his Bachelor & Master of engineering (By research) in Computer Systems from NED University, Karachi in 2002 & 2006 respectively.

Research Interests/Activities

After completion of his doctoral studies, he has been involved actively in research. He has been working on a research proposal titled “Wideband Low Noise Amplifier for Software Defined Radios” in collaboration with the Electronic Design Center of NED University. As Co. Principle Investigator of the project, he has already submitted this proposal to avail the research grant from ICT R&D Fund of about Rs. 15 million.

Awards & Honors

His doctoral thesis has been selected to be included in the “Dean of Graduate Research School’s List of Exceptional Theses” of Massey University, New Zealand. He has received a letter of appreciation and a certificate from Massey University in recognition of his research work.

He has been reviewing research papers for IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integrated Systems. This is a journal of International repute and is considered among the top tier journals of IC design.

He has been involved actively in research in collaboration with the Electronic Design Center of NED University. He is working on different proposals and projects related to RF IC design and software radios.

He is the branch counselor of IEEE student branch of NED University.
