Welcome to the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

This faculty, the oldest in NED University and originally consisting of only Department of Civil Engineering, has flourished incessantly since the transformation of NED Government Engineering College into NED University of Engineering and Technology in the year 1977. It now comprises of a number of Bachelors and Masters of Engineering Programmes including under graduation and post graduation in Architecture and Planning, and this journey is still going on.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture is deeply committed to its students, and is pledged to excellence in education. It strives to provide a challenging education environment and offers curriculum of studies that is a thorough blend of theoretical knowledge and latest research and practical experience.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture owns a creative environment for undergraduate and postgraduate students and offers a dynamic facility to those interested in research. The ambience here therefore makes our students perform well at their fields of interest and encourages them to produce results at their best efficiency and with more innovation. This thus imparts them an aim not only to make a real difference by contributing in the educational and intellectual environment of this country but also to bring about changes in their general surroundings.
