LT Maintenance:
• Load balancing of overload distribution transformer.
• Designing of new schemes to increase reliability of power supply to consumer and decrease overloading and tripping.
• Studied on a project of installing Arial bundled conductor to decrease theft.
• Distribution Transformer Testing.
Revenue Protection & Recovery Department:
• Site Inspection and FMR/SIR generation according to the discrepancies found.
• Industrial/Residential Meter reading and electricity theft detection by physical/visual inspection or practical tests.
• Losses calculation for distribution network including study of daily PMT and respective feeders sent out units and comparison with units billed.
  Assistant Manager Network Analysis May 2013 to July 2013 K-Electric Ltd.
11 kV HT Operations:
• Reporting of 11 kV networks, including back feedings, tripping, HT cable faults and complete vigilance on tripping of protection switches.
• Managing single line diagram of 11 kV network on CYMDIST.
• Analysis of 11 kV network on CYMDIST, to reduce technical losses and devise new System Improvement Proposals.
• Updating new connections on NSIS (Network Status Information System).
• Load balancing on Grid Stations through Power Transformer.
• Analysis on feeders gone through Annual Preventive Maintenance, their cost and benefit ratio and calculation of pay-back time.
• Analysis of HT underground cables regarding faults, deterioration and health, and suggestion of alternate feasible solutions.
• Conducting site visits to ensure quality work.
• An insight of Substation maintenance including isolators, 11kv switches, oil circuit breakers and busbars.
• Make new schemes and decisions for proper and balanced growth of network, keeping in mind financial constraints.

Technical Experience:

Training on Electrical Hazards and Controls (2013):
• One day training secession on identifying electrical hazards and their controlling techniques, certified by IEEE.

Final Year Project (2011):

We studied power system stability, disturbances and their impacts in detail and then focused controlling techniques, modeled the active power control equipment and studied excitation system in detail, simulated case studies related to stability problem and control system and correlated our theoretical results with the simulation results.

Internship (June 2010):

Four weeks internship in Pakistan Steel Mill in departments shown beneath:
• Thermal power plant.
• Power distribution network.
• Power equipment repair shop
• Engineering laboratory.
Consequently, grasped electric power generation and its utilization as a whole under one roof.
