Adeel received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan in 2002, the M.Sc. degree in Communications Engineering from The University of Technology Aachen (RWTH), Germany in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2011. Upon the completion his undergraduate studies, he joined the faculty of the Department of Electronic Engineering at the NED University of Engineering & Technology, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. His industrial experience includes stints with Broadcom Corporation and Infineon Technologies AG where he worked to develop pyhsical layer algorithms for both cellular and WLAN systems.
Adeel received Gold Medal upon graduating from the NED University of Engineering
and Technology for being the top student of Electrical Engineering in 2002. He received highly competitive international students' scholarships (UIPA and APA) and also Research Excellence Award from the University of New South Wales. He was the chair of IEEE UNSW Student Branch for 2010 and served
as Treasurer for SP/COM/OE joint Chapter of IEEE NSW Section, Australia in 2011. He is also the TPC member of IEEE ICC 2012 and IEEE VTC Spring 2012. |
