INTRODUCTION

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was founded in 1937. The Department has laboratories and workshops with a built-up area of about 5000 square meters besides the class room area covers approximately 2000 square meters.

The wide acceptance of its graduates by the Pakistani industry as well as Universities worldwide  for post graduate studies is an indication of the quality assurance being observed.
