Team ASHRAE at GIKI (March 2012)
Team ASHARE represented NED at GIKI in Thermocon ’12 by keeping up our tradition of success and winning the centrepiece Green Idea Competition. This victory cements our position as one of Pakistan’s most effective student chapters of any society and laid down a marker for other universities to follow.
SLS/SPDC 2012
SLS-SPDC 2012 Pakistan was held in NFC IEFR University of Faisalabad from 24th to 26th February 2012. Including NED thirteen other student sections participated in the event from different universities of the country. Among all the participating universities NEDUET got first position and got the honour of representing Pakistan at Asia Pacific level in the upcoming international event of ASME in Dubai. The performance of team NED in this event is given below:

Seminar on Project Management
A seminar on Project management which was held in university Auditorium on Feb 16,2012 for the students of Final year. The Purpose of this seminar was to learn specifically about the scope of Project management for mechanical Engineers. The speaker, Mr.Shaikh is serving as Planning and Project Controls Manager for Hastie group in Saudi Arabia. In the Seminar, he shared his experiences and did career guidance to students in this area.
ASHRAE CRC_RAL Abu Dhabi
In November 2011, ASHRAE NED sent one of its members to Abu Dhabi to represent NED on an international platform and succeeded in winning the award for the best technical presentation. ASHRAE NED was able to bring international acclaim to the university and glorify its name around the globe.

ALL PAKISTAN ASHRAE STUDENTS CONFERENCE 2011 (A.C.E. '11) (June 2011)
AHRAE’s central event of the year was the All Pakistan Students’ Conference
2011 (A.C.E. ’11) in which teams from multiple universities across Pakistan
participated in events ranging from the much loved edible car competition and
the incredibly competitive quiz to the widely attended project exhibition. The
great performance of NED’s students in these competitions has served to raise
the reputation of NED across the country.
The event was the one of the few national level events conducted in NED last
year and its tremendous success means that we are ready to bring an even better
event this year.

ASME NEDUET Section arranged following seminars from the platform of ASME

Industry Visit
ASME NEDUET Section arranged an industry visit to Pakistan Steel Mills for the students of all the engineering departments
AMEC 2011
AMEC (All Pakistan Mechanical Engineering Conference) is a mega national event of ASME Pakistan Section, which is held and organized by GIKI annually at their university. AMEC, 2011 was held in GIKI from 15th to 17th April, 2011 and including NEDUET nine other student sections participated in the event from different universities of the country. The performance of team NED in this event is given below:

SLS/SPDC 2011

SLS-SPDC 2011 Pakistan was held in Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology Nawabshah from 24th to 26th February 2011.
