  • 1980 to date: Professor at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan.

  • "Heat Transfer from Swirling Jet Impingement Studies", Cranfield Institute of Technology Bedford,England (Science Research Council UK); 1980.

  • “Heat transfer in closely-spaced-small-diameter tubes”, (United Stirling, Sweden); 1976.

  • Conducted several short courses on Energy Management, Maintenance Management System, Condition Monitoring, Cogeneration and Desalination under Centre for Continuing Engineering Education, NED University.

  • Maintenance Practices in Pakistan, Paper read in KRL sponsored conference on Machinery Maintenance, Islamabad, April 2000.

  • Supervision of PhD thesis on Desiccant cooling of Mr. Anjum Khalid, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department.
  Industrial Experience
  • 4MW power station at Globe Textile.

  • Power Project at National Refinery Ltd., Karachi, (7.5 MW Steam Turbine Generator and 4.0 MW HFO Engine Generator).

  • Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Head Office Building, Lahore (2 x 700 kW gas turbines and
    absorption chillers).

  • Completed Renewable study with USAID Consultants (Enerplan); formulated recommendations for Renewable Task Group for the Seventh Five Year Plan (Government of Pakistan).

  • 1 MW hybrid unit based on furnace oil engines and wind turbines  (Habib Bank Ltd., Pakistan).

  Languages
