• Presented a research paper titled " Fluid Flow and Mass Transfer in Membrane Feed Channels " at the 5^th IBCAST conference held at CESAT, Islamabad. (January 2007)  

• Conducted an introductory training course on Solar and Air Conditioning Systems Simulation using TRNSYS at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. (March, 2004)

•  Gave a seminar on “Real-time dynamic simulation for Power Plants” at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. (February, 2004)

•  Gave a seminar on “Real-time dynamic simulation for Power Plants” at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. (January, 2004)

•  Presented a research paper titled “Combined Natural Convection and Radiation in a Triangular Enclosure” at the 7^th AIAA/ASME Joint Thermophysics and Heat Transfer Conference held at Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA from June 14-18, 1998.

•  Presented a research paper titled “Laminar Natural Convection in a Triangular Enclosure” at the 1997 ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition held at Dallas, Texas, USA, from November 16-21, 1997. 

• Developed and tested a working model of a small boiler-turbine demo-simulator to be shown to customers at various symposia and exhibitions.

•  Modeling, development and testing of a coal fired 670MW power plant Operator training simulator for Paiton Private Power in East Java, Indonesia.

• Modeling and development of a 56.7MW Gas Turbine Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) training simulator for the Desalination Plant in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

• Modeling of another 680MW coal fired power plant operator training simulator for First Energy Corporation in East Lake, Ohio, USA.

• Lead Engineer & Coordinator on the Georgia Power Plant Yates Simulator Project, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. A 365MW coal fired unit.

• Simulator performance testing of upgraded controls for the Ghazlan Power Plant in Eastern Saudi Arabia.

• Development of detailed piping design and layouts for National Refinery Ltd., Lube Oil Refinery Expansion Project while working for Zishan Engineers Ltd., Karachi from 1982-84.
