Polymer and Petrochemical degree course at the NED University is a specialized Chemical Engineering course with emphasis on Refining Operations, Petrochemical Technology and Polymer Processing. Core subjects like Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Themo-dynamics and Reaction Engineering are bridged with special subjects like Polymer and Petrochemical Processing, Refinery Operations with due weightage on Numerical Computation, Process control, Modeling & Simulation, so that a graduate be self sufficient with required Basic.
Polymer and Petrochemical Engineering Graduates therefore will be in a position to shoulder responsibilities in Polymer Industries, Refineries, Petrochemical Plants as well as downstream Petroleum Industries.
