1ST ALL KARACHI SWIMMING & WATER POLO CHAMPIONSHIP 2002

        NED University was organized 1st All Karachi Inter Universities Swimming & Water Polo (Boys) Championships 2002 on the occasion of NED Silver Jubilee Celebration at K.M.C Sports Complex, Kashmir Road Karachi on 16th April 2002.

Following University teams are participated in these Championships.

  1. NED University of Engg. & Tech., Karachi.
  2. Sir Syed University of Engg. & Tech., Karachi.
  3. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology, Karachi (SZABIST).
  4. College of Business & Management (CBM).

        Mr. Shujat Ali Baig (Senior Vice President of Habib Bank Limited & President of Sindh Table Tennis Association) was the Chief Guest in Closing Ceremony of above Championship.

The Result of Water Polo Championship:

Champion Sir Syed University of Engg. & Tech., Karachi.
Runner Up NED University of Engg. & Tech., Karachi.
Best Goal Keeper Imran Mehdi (Sir Syed University)
Best Scorer Asim Shafiq Baig (SZABIST)


The Result of Swimming Championship:

Highest Points: NED University was secured 85 Points.
Best Swimmer: Muhammad Haris Bin Jabbar (NED University)
Fastest Swimmer: Muhammad Haris Bin Jabbar (NED University)

Pakistan inter university Swimming & Water Polo (Boys) Championship 2004:

NED University participated in Inter University Swimming & Water Polo (Boys) Championship 2004, organized by Laiquat University of Medical Science (LUMS) Lahore from 27th June to 29th June 2004.

A close contest was seen between NED University and the winner with both finishing at 86 points but the NED University was declared Runner Up on the basis of their Gold Medals tally as the Agriculture University, Faislabad had nine (09) Gold while NED had only three (03) Gold Medals.
