in Ghazi Khan.
The objective of visit to Manchar Lake was to inspect five houseboats that had undergone repairs and verify the socio-economic matrix of Wadero Umer village community. In Sukkur, the objective was to interview the dwellers and boat makers of the now extinct Baghochar boats, and record their memories associated with Baghochar. In Lower Punjab, the aim was to visually document the houseboats along the Indus River banks and conduct interviews with the houseboat dwellers. The team identified a significant difference between the houseboats in Lower Punjab and Manchar Lake in Sindh. Additionally, an interview was conducted with the master craftsman/boat maker of Baghochar, and it was recorded in both audio and video formats.
