The approved grant for Roll-over underlined the following objectives:


A. Build Capacity for local Community to ensure sustainable living


• Train the local community to run and manage the Water Filtration Plant.

• Train the local community to maintenance the Eco-Toilets, including waste disposal and exploring viable uses of by- products like fertilizer and methane gas.

• Deliver 2 craft-making workshops (separate for men and women) with expert mentors, building on existing skills to produce marketable crafts for community uplift.

• Design and implement 2 ‘Manchar Lake Mohannas Tours’ through training the community.

• Conduct a five-day Art Residency in Sehwan for 5 artists, to engage with the Mohanna community.

B. Enhance Educational Infrastructure on the lake and increase Mohanna heritage awareness and engagement locally


• Monitor and evaluate the ongoing TCF School activity and explore potential for expansion.

• Design and develop floating or lake bank structure to enhance the school’s capacity.

• Conduct a two-day learning activity for local school children, including a tour of Manchar Lake to learn about the Mohanna lifestyle and environmental awareness.



C. Preserve and Promote Manchar Lake Cultural and Environmental Heritage

• Research, write and design a book about the Manchar Lake Mohanna tribe.

• Publish a Book.

• Documenting (photography/videography) of all key events and activities including school development, tourism, craft workshops, art residency, and tours.
