Dean's Message |
|
It is an honor to me to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering. The faculty has five departments, which are Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Polymer and Petrochemical Engineering, and Food Engineering. A wide range of contributions is made to our teaching and research by each department. As Dean, I head the academics, promote excellent research, and ensure that our programs are in line with global standards of engineering. We continue to advance our courses in all departments with the addition of new labs, analysis and computing equipment, and the current curriculum. We continue to work in close collaboration with industry. This assists our graduates to be job market-ready and to make actual contributions in their areas. Our teachers, researchers and support staff members are the drivers of the faculty. Their services, research, and teaching are fortified because of their hard work. Their collaboration provides a sober learning atmosphere which promotes questioning, fresh thoughts, robust thinking and doing the right thing to students. In the future, we would like to continue developing teamwork in subjects, increase our research capacity and be able to establish a learning culture that will support academic growth and career development. The primary objective of our Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering is to remain one of the leading academic hubs the place where knowledge can be gathered, innovation can be inspired, and engineers can be trained to find answers to challenging technological and social issues.
Best Regards
